If you feel like maybe you’ve stopped progressing, or your training has plateaued, it’s very easy to get frustrated and lose motivation.
A few years ago, I created a video series called Making “A” Class, and in that series, I go over some of the hurdles that I had to overcome in my climb to my Grand Master cards in USPSA.
Check out the first two videos here where I discuss the mindset shift that needs to take place first. I use to think it was comical when people were worried about losing a tenth of second here and there. It was only a tenth of a second after all...or is it?
Once we admit that a tenth of a second matters, then we can begin the process of becoming a faster shooter...even though all the time we are losing has NOTHING to do with shooting!
What are some challenges you’ve had, and what did you do to get over them?
